Workshops & Pilates Teacher Training Program
Our courses in experiential anatomy, “Adventures in Anatomy,” explore the structure and function of the body. Special workshops, such as “Powerhouse Massage with Foam Rollers,” “Pilates for Yogis,” and “Exercise for Osteoporosis,” are listed in the Special Events section of this web site.
And, if want to deepen your study of Pilates, our 600-hour Pilates Teacher Training Program will prepare you to teach or further your personal growth and body awareness.

The Moving Body's balanced, total body workout is enjoyable, safe and invigorating. In addition to using the Pilates and GyrotonicŪ equipment, your Moving Body workout draws upon many ancient and modern fitness disciplines, including yoga and dance.

The Moving Body teachers guide you through each lesson, suggesting modifications to adjust difficulty level to your individual capabilities. We offer precise verbal cues and personalized attention to keep your movements effective and safe, and to pace and motivate you.
Your teachers will pay particular attention to special needs (chronic pain, past/current injuries, and other weaknesses). Breathing exercises, warm-up and core stabilization (centering of abdominal muscles and spine) are key elements of our complete body workout. After only a few sessions, you’ll notice a difference in your flexibility and strength, and you’ll soon become comfortable with increased levels of challenge.
