We are all unique. Our approach is individualized and our movement teachers are highly trained and knowledgeable about the complexities of the human body.
No single workout works for every body. We believe in giving you both information and skills because we know that many students use what they learn at The Moving Body within a broader perspective of positive lifestyle change.
We'll work with you to create a program of exercise and training that is right for you.
At your first session, we'll talk with you about your needs, goals and any prior injuries or
health issues. Should you desire, we are happy to work with your health care professional.
As you acquire new skills, strength and flexibility, your teachers will adjust your workout
in a natural progression that offers increasing challenges.
Pilates and Gyrotonic® workouts are engaging and very enjoyable. You'll leave each session with a pleasant feeling of energy and invigoration, and you'll look forward to your next visit.
Our Students Come From All Walks of Life
Our students range in age from 4 to 93, yet all have a desire to feel stronger, healthier and more vibrant. .
Anyone can benefit from The Moving Body's safe and effective workout and training programs. Our students include professional dancers, actors and athletes, as well as people who are physically challenged, neurologically impaired, and others representing all levels of ability.
Some Moving Body students take their love of The Pilates Method to the next level and enroll in our Pilates Teacher Training Program. Our program will prepare you for a career in teaching or simply allow you to further your personal growth and exploration.
